it has been kept at pretty much room temperature since being removed and has had oil put down the bores and kicked over ever ...

I have no idea. the underside of the top yoke has 3XV cast into it and is stepped wheras the 3MA's I have seen have a flat top yoke.

It would appear that these are actually from a 3XV not a 3MA as I thought.
