I didn't want to put aftermarket plastic and ride it, the details ( with me ) are on the O.C.D. side, when I see a bike/car "the devil is in the details" I see the rotors, or the frame, all the rubber hoses etc. all that to me is the detail that your eyes see but never notices, its when you have a feeling about something but cant answer why. The bike is mostly original just a replaced panel or two because of a small scratch, when I say restoration I'm just using an exotic for for cleaned up, this is how it came I just stripped it of all the plastic an cleaned it up, there is no Armorall used everything is dry to the touch and nothing is greasy, so what you see all the plastic and rubber is dry to the touch ( I did use a type of preservative on the tires but it is dry as well) thanks for the views, the bike never gets seen so its nice to see my comrades take a an interest.
