I have an MC21 that was imported from Japan and is road registered in Australia (Queensland). In Qld you need to get an LO1 certificate that says it's compliant with Australian design rules then a road worthy inspoection to say well that it's roadworthy and off you go. Yes you can ride two strokes on the road - the smokier and smellier the better - I love watching the faces of the car robots when they pull up behind my Mach 3 Kawasaki and I pull away covering them in lovely blue haze.....
