You may want to check it's definitely the PGM befoe commiting yourself to the expense. You can check for the pulse output from the ECU which is what my mechanic did when my PGM stopped working. If you are keeping the bike long term I'd buy a couple (I did) so you don't have the problem again. Also if you have another one you can send one off to Greece for repair while not having the bike off the road.
