Most NSRs tend to smoke more from one pipe on initial start-up.
As John says, if it started up easily and idled smoothly on both cylinders (and then cleared up noticeably once warm), it's unlikely you have anything to worry about.
However, regarding your comment "people were saying it could be gearbox fluid but obviously with this being a 28 we dont have that problem"... trust me, an MC28 does have 'gearbox fluid' (transmission oil), and is just as likely to suffer as any other model IF the RHS crank seal was to fail!
