3466 is thicker (leaner) than 3366, hence needing to lift it half a clip to equal 3366.

Therefore a 1267 is thinner (richer) than your 1268.

The needles get thicker (leaner) as the number (and part number) increases. This is the same convention as the HRC NSR250 and RS250 NF5 needles.

The NSR250 TT-F3 manuals and NF5 parts manuals used to list the needle sizes in the notes section. I don't know why they stopped doing it in the later manuals.
