I did all the design work for the Cup Noodles, and then the bodywork was supplied from China. Nobody had done Cup Noodle before (well, not that I know of), not even Silhouette in Japan, who had a lot of replica/retro bodykits in their catalogue. The kits looked OK from a distance, but basically it was a disaster. Even supplying the them the vector image files, they still buggered some of them up! (The yellow stripe should be the same gold as the gold bike, and the NISSIN read NISSNI, for example! ) It wouldn't have been so bad if we'd just paid and that's what turned up, as it was cheap, but there were countless e-mails discussing my requirements (even saying I would pay more to ensure it was done well), and got all the promises in the world, only to receive bodywork that wasn't far off appalling! Hence why I don't have anything good to say about Chinese bodywork! All the Noodle kits you see on eBay now are my graphics.
