In my opinion, it's imperative the NC35 forks are set up properly. I rode an MC21 with RVF400 forks years back, and it was awful. That's not to say they (or most other USD conversions) can't work though. My own MC21 has a USD (RS250R) conversion, so it would be hypocritical to say it's not worth it, however the RWU NF5 front-end was equally as good for someone of my limited ability, and a great improvement over the standard NSR forks. The problem with the HRC forks (both RWU and USD) is they're likely to cost over double what an RVF set will cost these days.

The biggest pain in the arse is the reduced steering lock, which there is nothing you can do about.
