There are a few things you can do to bump the power of the MC28 a little, but really, the only true way is with the HRC card. In our experience, the difference between a "delimited" MC28 without an HRC card, and one with a card, can be as much as 10hp!

Your card can be re-programmed, but you need to send your card and PGM-IV to Japan to have it done. Currently a company called KONTEC are the only reliable company to offer the service. You will be able to find them via Google.

I have heard people claim 55+hp using MC21 parts on an MC28, but the few bikes we have dyno tested have struggled to get much over 50rwhp.
