The wild-card riders who will race in the British Grand Prix, at Donington Park on July 24, have been announced.
There will be five home riders for the local crowd to support in the 125cc class but, as previously reported, there will be no British 250cc wild-cards after the three riders that applied had their applications turned down by the ACU because of a predicted level of (un)competitiveness and, apparently, their age.
However, Spaniard Alvaro Molina and Austrian Yves Polzer have been granted wild-card 250cc entries, after being nominated by the FIM.
