I haven't bought anything from the user, but when looking at the eBay user, I would be a little hesitant about completing an auction with the user.
Here is what I base my opinion on:
1. The user was created in the recent past (January 2004).
2. Most of the user’s auctions are private, and therefore, you cannot look into those auctions.
3. The user is based in Canada (not that Canadians are not trustworthy, but there have been some issues with other Canadian auctions and NSR's).
4. The bikes that they are trying to sell are located in Japan. This mostly means that the user is selling bikes that they do not have possession of.
I would stay away from any auction like these auctions that they user is listing for the reasons I pointed out.
If you are still going to take your chances, get in contact with the user prior to completion of the auction. Have them call you, or you call them. Verify their location, etc... Use an escrow service for the goods. Basically don't hand your money over to the person until they have delivered the goods!
Thanks,
