I can only answer for the MC18

One very small screw "+"type screw needs to be undone to remove the trip reset (located down the shaft)
once this is undone the reset twister can be removed easily and then its about 4 more screws on the rear and it all comes apart
I took mine apart as only one bulb was working and they were dirty inside and out
