It's not that bad... you'll probably get 3-4 15-20 minute sessions in a morning, and the same in the afternoon on most track days (with 3 groups).

You'll get 4-5 track days to a set of pistons, if you really push it. I guess it depends if you're a real track junkie?

I would however strongly recommend pulling the barrels after every track day, and inspecting the ring grooves and piston thrust faces. You can get the barrels off without removing the heads, to save the excessive cost of head gasket replacement every time.
