Thanks, Andy, that rendering you did really brought it all together for me. Now that I know how to look at it, it's clear everything is intact on the left side but everything is gone from the right side, including the spacer! Just the rod sticking out from the case. Argh. The worst of it is the spacer seems to be the one part (50108-KV3-700) in all this that is not available any longer! Fooked for wan t of a $5.50 part no longer available!

Checked CMS, Rising Sun motorcycles, Redline Powersports, zippo. Does anyone have any ideas for where I can find one, new or used? Fook me. I suppose if need be I could extract the spacer from the left side and try to get a machine shop to make one....but I'd rather have the actual Honda part if at all possible.
