We're starting to become the old duffers now though, so what was originally more a '70s club, that's currently more an '80s club, will soon enough be a predominently '90s club I reckon.
Some members here certainly have here a passing interest in some '70s and [early] '80s bikes; RobH and PaulG spring to mind, but I'd wager many of us don't really have an affinity with them as that's not generally what we got to ride/lust after in our teens. I, myself rode a £75 '70s SS50 at 16 (that put me off bore-strokes for life!), and a 1984/5 MBX125F at 17, but I lusted after an NS125. However, by then the MC18 was a thing, and bought to my attention by Performance Bikes magazine, and from that day an NSR was the only bike I ever wanted, so '90s it is for me! My '80s interest is the NS250 (and to a certain extent, the MVX250) due to it's significance in the NSR's and HRC's history.
As Tom says, they do a pretty good job by all accounts, so once my MC21 is finished (and I've lost a few kg!) I might consider joining too. Maybe we can make it an NSR club! 😁😁😁
