I would be contacting GT about the finish on that wheel. Reality do all their rims (well, did, when I was there) and that is highly unusual. All the HRC wheels (RS250R/NSR500/RC30/RC45 etc.) are magnesium, and they've also done plenty of SP Magteks. Something is amiss there, which they should rectify in my opinion; certainly if it's within 6 months.
