Three years ago and mid rebuild, me and my dad (Spid Snr)attended the Bristol Bike show and he quipped “I can see your bike being here one day” and it’s been an aspiration ever since

And today… with support from the VJMC I managed to achieve that aspiration

Show starts tomorrow, so bikes are lined up purely for security, at one end is a Wayne Gardner rep and the other end a replica Steve Spray Norton (used to have a picture of Steve Spray along with Simon Buckmaster and Trevor Nation on their bikes popping wheelies)












As I arrived late in the afternoon and spend best part of an hour hanging all the plastic bodywork back on, time wasn’t on my side, so I’ll get a few more pics for the album when I go back.
As the Bath and West is famous for its agricultural shows, sitting or kneeling on the concrete floor left me with jeans infused with the distinct odour of sheep pee 😆
