Hello- been a long time because I'm still stuck on getting the RC Valves to work correctly.. I've recently gone over budget with spending on electronic boxes. I ended up getting all three from Jauce...a CDI (my third) an RC controller and a sub-control unit. The RC valve solenoid itself was refurbed by our friends at T2 Racing friends in Osaka and my Throtte Control Sensor passed all the tests recommended in the Service Manual.

The problem being is that the Solenoid does not move at all when I switch the ignition on- UNLESS i physically move it to the HIGH position (which I did in the video below) and then it will move itself to the LOW position and sit there and vibrate.

If I do the specific test below...
1- switch it on...(it does nothing) ...[it should cycle to the 'start setting' ] (What is the 'Start Setting?')
2- then switch it off...
3- unplug the TPS and
4- switch it on again..it does nothing [it should rotate to the HI open position.]

This is what happens when after I physically move it to the HI position

I could quite easily resort to setting it like the factory does...but how will I know if it's working at all...by rip roaring 2nd gear power wheelies perhaps?

"With the kill switch set to the run position, turn the ignition on with the key/card. Allow the Valve to cycle to the start setting. Now switch the ignition back off with the key/card. Unplug the throttle position sensor (T.P.S), located on the inside of the right frame rail under the air solenoid block, and switch the ignition back on. The servo will rotate to the "hi" open position. Once again, turn the ignition off. Adjust the cables at the pulley end so the pointer aligns with the mark on the back plate as shown in the diagram below."
