My understanding is the standard 0.5mm gasket is the default, and the inserts should be already machined for them our-of-the-box. However, the manufacturer/seller should confirm this both with included instructions, and by direct communication.
Point of note though, if the kit has been bought second hand, then there is no guarantee the inserts have not be custom machined, so both the squish and the combustion chamber capacity should be measured.
If you purchased from TYGA (or one of their re-sellers) or VHM, then I'd be shocked if they didn't supply a spec sheet or can't/won't confirm via e-mail. If you bought from a Chinese manufacturer, I strongly recommend the point above. The Chinese copy stuff without the understanding of the application (and often, technology!), and I can't be sure they didn't simply copy a used set of VHMs or similar, that were set for a specific tune or fuel. Their reproduction PGM-III is a classic example, that cannot be delimited with a wire-splice, because they blindly copied a stock unit without understanding how it works.
