Back to your question...
- Remove the rider's seat pad (obviously!)
- Remove the locking glovebox door.
- Remove the two M6 (10mm hex) screws securing the black inner glovebox to the subframe
- Remove the four large cross-head screws securing the seat to the subframe
- Pop the locating pins out from the sides of the fuel tank
- Lift the rear of the seat unit up, and disconnect the tail light from the wiring harness
- Gently slide the whole seat unit backwards and upwards. Take care not to scratch the tank with the "pins" that press into the rubber grommets on the bottom/side of the fuel tank.
- The pillion (passenger) seat pad is held in place by the strap (wraps around the glovebox and then screws into two pressed-in "nuts" underneath)...
- ...and a single Phillips head screw under the seat top panel.
