Right then,
I've still got this bloody problem with something
causing a no spark situation but only sometimes..
I rigged up a Sealy spark tester on the bottom
cilinder so when the bike finally does start, I see
a constant, very brite continuous flow of currant.
I've checked the pick-ups, both are within specs
Ohm wise.
Battery holds 12v and generator kicks out a constant 14.5 Volt.
Petrol is always present in the recently fitted see thru
filter.
Kick the engine over and most times I get sparks, then then engine cuts out
and no spark generated, even after10/15 kick-starts.
Could a faulty pgm ecu cause this?
I Hope not as that means another €7/800 as spares
in Italy are unobtainable and there's always a risk
that the used pgm bought from Japan is also faulty..
Any way to check the dam pgm ecu?
