The Uotani coils were included in a box of spares Andy,
Just 'cos they look cool I suppose and generate a big fat spark.
No sidestand switch present zeus, eliminated a while back.
With the bike running if I remove the lt connector there's
no change in engine note, exhaust is cold as is gas exiting
the silencer which seems like a wiring problem and not the coil.
Atleast before the exhaust was luke warm, now not even that.
The only thing that springs to mind is that maybe, whilst
fitting the tyga carbon airbox, I may have stretched
or damaged the wiring loom trying to get the dam box in?
I 9nly hope it's not pgm related, I'm screwed then as
no parts available hear in Italy.
I'll go down later and check voltages at the LT coil plug, continuity test,
etc.
I'll swap the coil with the identical sp2 coil fitted on the rgv and see if it fires.
Forgot to mention that if I disconnect the running cylinder, the bike stops dead
And if I swap the LT plugs between upper and lower coils the bike
won't start.
