I have no idea what the problem is, but the bike was hand built with Harris frame, RG motor, and some sort of advance ignition. The battery is for the horn and lights, and when it hits 8500 rpm the power valves. We spent 5 hrs at Cadwell trying to start the fecker, and it finall y started with a hefty push from Stuart (mc18) on this site.
It looks like the bike needs a fecking great big kick to get it going, and would be so much eaiser with a roller. In the mean time the bike in question (see Cadwell post from me) is off to BOB F to see if we can't make it more user freindly. Looming up on the 16th September is Donnington - we just want a good day and a roller could help big time - even for me. I'm a big pussy and get tired of kicking the MC21 over late in the afternoon when I'm knackered!
Sorry for being rude, but I'm knackered after Cadwell!
