Well I can recommend Japan of course. If you're teaching English you'll get paid more in Japan than anywhere else. Much more. Any employer will sortout your visa for you. You can probably even come on a tourist visa and then get a job and your company will 'sponsor' you for your work visa.
Nova is the biggest employer, they are the MacDonalds of the English-teaching world. Pretty much all the westerners here are English teachers (unless you count US military living on ships and bases), so on the web there are going to English teachers galore who can help and advise you.
It's funny, you ask Western (native English speakers) people here what they do and often they'll reply "Oh! I'm a DJ, or a photographer, or a designer". Then ask them if they have any teaching jobs and they might mutter something about a few private lessons on the side ... basically English teachers all of them!
There are quite a few models and head-hunters as well, then a some city workers.
