since no one will help i just went and did it!
(well a mechanic gave me advice....)

used hydrochloric acid to melt of the remaining piston..it just fizzed up and that was it...
the mechanic honed the inside aswell...looks pretty good again..

however.......the pistion dug into the cylinder a very very minute amount.

might need replating...will see what happens....
