Hardly. There's only Billy racing an NSR that I know of (in this country) and he's got ram air, so he is trying!
The rest of us aren't racing, so need a bike to last more than 12 laps.
The quick way to 80hp on an NSR is to drop the RS250 straight in. No farking about, and will last a lot more than 12 laps too. You just have to blip the throttle a bit at standstill and change pistons every couple of months.
Top speed is generally a measure of money, and if you have a fat wallet then good luck to ya.
