My 2000 RS250 I had (~90 rwhp/ 225lbs) had enough guts to keep up with all the bikes I rode with on my Motegi trackday, except the 1000 inline 4's. It was all I could do to stay with the current crop of 600's, but not even think about out-pulling them.

The NSR or any other street-designed 250 really has no chance at all in a straight line...
