I'm not championing the RR here - ANY modern 600 will kill ya.
I'm certain you'd be quicker on say, a Gixxer too Sean. I found that the good riding habits you learn on a stroker let you really get the most out of a 600.
As i said - go right ahead. My own 400/500 hybrid will be ready in the spring - just be realistic about how much stock roadbikes have improved in the last 5 years, let alone 25. There has never been so much ACCESSIBLE performance available to Joe average rider.
