Most of the horsepower your looking for is in head setup.Get good compression you get good horsepower.Cylinders need to be matched up for port heights(which are ugly on the NSR).Pistons can be cleaned up a ton.Single ringed is a big gain right off the bat.Also need to stuff the cases,this brings the bottom compression up.Balancing the crank,knifing the rods will bring you lots of accelleration off the corners.Lets see whats left?Oh the clutch basket,lighten it up a bit by machining and Ti bolts and washers.Its all the little things that add up.Don't run tons of oil in the tranny,especially if its dry clutch.
One of these days I need to get both my kitted 01-RS250(Ex Disalvo) and 05-Kitted RS125 on the Dyno for some work.
