The best solution is to be a bit more careful with the gear changes (unlike me), make sure that the levers etc are all in good condition with not too much slop, and good tranny oil. Then you'll probably have many years of happy cog swapping.

The F3 box is just like the RS250 and many other race boxes in that the dogs are undercut, so the gears mesh together firmly and they ain't going anywhere.
