if you read the above post you will see they are from a 98-99 916, which as i remember didnt do to badly at whooooping the RC45 for a number of years, until the SP1-2 so yes i would say they are better.
as for the weight when i come to fit them i will weigh both sets of calipers, maybe you will pull back some of the 5kg that your outdated swingarm adds to your bike
so all bow to the wisdom of Fontyyy, Nigel, luke, jamie wheeler you are all wrong and should refit your ugly little Nissin calipers again as Bremos are rubbish.
