As title says;
On my '28 I've got the standard 15/44 which left me wanting to change gear (into a non existant 7th) before the Dunlop bridge at Donington on Tuesday and was totally reved out not long after with a good distance to go before braking, I was just keeping it pinned anyway but those of you who fear WOT 6th gear 12000rpm+ situations would have been very scared, luckily I've situation tested mine before, i.e. cold morning, flat out for miles, it didn't seize
So I'm probably going to get a 40 for the rear and a 16 for the front as well thus giving me a bit of choice, anybody got a better idea?
According to the very informative (but very annoying as it's at 10,000 rpm and in kmh) gear ratio to speed chart on Jamie's site that'd give me the 115 mph flat out I've got now, 125mph with the 15/40 or a potential 135mph (if it would get there?) with the 16/40.
Sound about right?
