DO THE MONKEY
no matter what bike you have its always a good thing to warm it up, I normally start my bike put jacket and helmet on, blip the throttle for a few mins then ride off slowly down the road, after a few miles its at operating temprature BUT i must stress i always ride real slow, but BEst practice would be to get her warm first, blip the throttle and be happy, I dont want to insult your mechanic but ask someone else for an opinion, most tunning companys in the UK will recommend that you warm any bike up before riding it, Im fairly new to NSR's as well i got mine in may and this forum has been spot on. there hasnt been a bad bit of advice yet!
