Just a wild stab in the dark here...........you never cold seized an engine did you?

My rule is the '28 doesn't move till the temp gauge says something (display comes on at 35*), leaving Monkey's at night rather than sit outside his house annoying all the neighbours I push it along the road blipping as I go until it's warmed up.

Using any engine cold is wrong, their religious warming up of engines is supposedly the reason that Honda engineers never found any problems with the original VF750 V4 diesel lump, using a 2 stroke from cold is asking for trouble.
