"Just a wild stab in the dark here...........you never cold seized an engine did you?"

Hi there fontyyy,

No I never have.

Having a dad who`s a mechanic, I got it drummed into me about how to treat an engine at an early age, around 6years old.

Bikes like Fizzies, various DT`s, LC`s etc, obviously I wouldn`t ride off until they could run reasonably with the choke off.

All I`m saying is there`s a difference to genlty riding until the engine is up to full operating temp as opposed to screaming the tits off it from cold.
I quite happily ride off after a few mins`, rather than spend 10-15 mins sitting there blipping the throttle.
Obviously I take it easy until it`s up to temp.

Like I said, each to his own.

Cheers

Roy.
