Good advices guys.
The guy who fixed my bike was in the track before too. No wonder he recommended to eliminated the close-cable. The reason I brought my bike in the shop was because the close-cable was broken last week. The cable was torn in two due to old age. Luckily, I still managed to drive slowly for 15 mins to the shop. Like Andy said, the calbe was re-routed without being clamped to the frame now.
Nonetheless, the close-cable must be there for a good reason. I shall find a set of new cable soon and make sure there are not clamp to the frame.
