I was actually just going over my cases and it seems I have an mc16. So am I right to assume all year bottom ends are the same other than the whole wet, dry deal? Anyway im finding the nsr bottom end is going to work out even better than I thought! I was having some trouble launching with my setup but the nsr tranny has much better gearing for what im doing and should work out great. That reminds me, we usually run an override tranny in our drag quads which allows us to up shift without use of the clutch or backing off the throttle but I doubt anyone has ever cut one for the nsr trannies so I was wondering if anyone has any input as to how well the electronic quick shifters work? Do they really allow you to upshift just like im talking about without actually having the trann cut? This is a very interesting project for me and some of the other die hard TRX 250R owners. If this works out as well as im hoping we will finally be able to compete with the banshee twins on the same turf. Well almost they are 350's but im looking into some other type of cylinders that will work with the nsr bottom ends and ive got some good choices although im not sure how well theyd work for you guys. Since they wont have powervalves which wont matter for me since we only run w.o.t. This setup will also be run on methanol so I will be really putting this motor to the test. LOL, there is also a lockup clutch system available for our TRX's and it should work on the nsr's as well with a modified clutch cover. Wow im really rambing on now but I will post a pic and hopefully its ok and if not im sure someone will erase it for me . Thanks
