Yeah, they're too big and your "mildly modded" bike is in fact totally derestricted and will be running race pipes so you're probably looking at something like a 35/40% power increase, hardly "mild" eh? But it will start and not seize on big jets which is a good thing.

The HRC card (when other mods, pipes, airbox etc allow) is a massive thing, mine is that rich on the std card it wont rev out past 3rd gear and doesn't "come on the pipe" at all.

Not too sure about the jet kit being "useless for street use", I seized mine up running it too lean and could (if I were so inclined) have gone down 6 sizes further. Anyone running an unrestricted '28 with no powerjets and mains under 170 better had live on a mountain top in Cosa Rica and be a fair weather rider.

Have fun, '28 needles are a bitch to get out in situ unless I'm missing something obvious (Matt?).
