My '16 has similar mileage, so yours has probably been sitting in someone's garage for 5 or 10 years like mine. In my profession people like to say that if a piece of equipment has been sitting still for a period of time, it will be as reliable (when it is put into operation again) as if it had been run as normal for the same duration...Which means that an 18 year old bike will never add up to more, even if the kms are very low! I'm finding this one out for myself the hard way... If I had it to do over, I would have spent more on a newer bike, simple as that.
