I bought my MC21 a couple of years ago in GA and the BIGGEST benefit was the fact that it was already titled. Not sure how it was done either. I called my DMV several years ago and was told to forget it. It wasn't going to happen. There are several states where it's apparently real easy to have it title. Maine I'm told is pretty easy. If you knew someone in Maine that could have it titled and then "sold" to you.............transferring is less complicated. On the other hand even then you should contact your DMV first. I remember one owner telling me he had bought an NSR with a Texas title and the GA DMV would not let him transfer it due to the small VIN number.

There's a reason the current owner is telling you it's real easy but he hasn't had it titled!
