My NSR will start first prod if ridden regularly, second if left for a few days, and five or six if any longer. I even managed to start it at Cadwell recently when it'd been stood for 9 months (just had to drain off the carbs). The rest of the NSR boys were impressed!

Some people seem to have a devil of a job, but to be honest I think bad setup or tuning has much to do with this - there's no way Honda would issue a bike that no-one could start!

Keep the bike in good condition, and it's a cinch to start.
