Is it safe to drill holes in my swing arm??

rc46 » Thu Jan 19, 2006 11:38 am

Yup, its true i want to drill 2 holes in the swing arm!!!!! i have a mc21 and im running a new rear master cylinder! the hose will now run accross the top of the arm down to the caliper, ID like to drill 1 maybe 2 holes into the swing arm and attache the hose, the holes i guss will be around 3mm in dia. and ill use a self tapping metal screw to hold the hose clamp in. IS THIS SAFE? or should i be looking at another way to keep the hose away from the wheel?
