Well, thanks to the RGV boys too, and welcome "awood"!!
Shame you never had a little more notice for the photoshoot last Wednesday Frank, else maybe we could've got a few more tricked NSR's along for some moral support and to try and capture PB's imagination a bit more.
I think you should've won personally! Not because it is an NSR, or even because it is a 2-stroke, but because just how many bikes like that Kawasaki have already been built, featured, or already won specials competitions over the last 20 years! It's hardly an original project bike is it?!
It's not often you see not only a replica of a current 250GP bike on the road, but one that someone has put so much time and effort into rather than just bolting bits up to it! Things like the way the frame and swingarm aren't simply polished like the recent fad, but are toned back down to a satin "brushed" type finish - superb!
It'll be nice if PB can be persuaded to come along to one of the 2-stroke days like they promised last year!
Plans are already afoot for another "weekend" in the spring like the first Track Day/Dyno Day/Rideout (but maybe a little later than last year in the hope of fairer weather!) so who knows!
