I had a mint rz500 stolen in the eighties, three weeks later the loser crashed his brains out and I got the bike back, quite a bloody mess!

Seeing the bike smashed to bits was a real bummer but seeing all the blood on the bike sure helped. I ended up rebuilding the bike and kept for another ten years or more.
