I spent this afternoon at Talon Engineering working out a deal to retail their sprockets in the Marketplace.
The result was that I need to order in 10 sets of sprockets to "get my foot in the door".
The NSR sprockets will go back into production especially for us and will therefore ONLY be available from NSR-WORLD.COM. The deal will also leave the door open for us to possibly supply other models too, and not just Honda's.
The sprockets will need to be sold in pairs at first, as the initial investment is quite large, but we will be in the position later to offer single items. Only MC18 and MC21 disks were on the agenda today, but Pro-Arm sprockets will be available too. We will also be able to supply chains in either non O-ring (for racing*) or O-ring as part of a complete kit if required.
A pair of sprockets will sell for approximately UK£37.50 (US$65.00) + shipping and a (race) chain & sprocket kit will sell for approximately UK£60 (US$104.00)+ shipping.
Remember, these sprockets will be manufactured in-house at Talon Engineering to the highest possible competition standards, especially for NSR-WORLD.
Sizes available will be 15T front and 38T or 40T rear. Other sizes will be made available once the market is established. Custom sizes/applications will also be on offer if there is sufficient interest.
I would like to confirm 8 (sprocket) orders to get the ball rolling, so is there anyone out there interested? Please post here AND e-mail me if you are interested and a confirmation e-mail will be sent by return. After that, when the required number of pre-orders has been reached, an invoice will be sent for immediate payment.
I WILL NOT MAKE ANY PURCHASES WITH TALON ENGINEERING UNTIL I HAVE RECEIVED ALL PAYMENTS.
I have been stung by unpaid orders recently for MC18 heads, a performance clutch kit, and various other miscellaneous parts totalling MORE than the investment required with Talon, and I don't intend to subsidise the Marketplace any more as it's effecting the quality of service for genuine buyers!
* NOTE: The non O-ring race chain uses a "split" link. A rivet link can be supplied at extra cost. _________________ Andy.
