Yeah, that's about the size of it. Those of us who can remeber the RD350 YPVS will recall the vibes and stuttering as it transitioned from low to high power - and then the glorious pull as it shot off into the distance!

It's all relative of course. The NSR would whoop it's ass now, and is a lot more refined to boot. Still, without the RD, the NSR would not exist I guess...
