Have to agree with Monkey and Fontyyy here, Ive spent around 2.5K (maybe more ive lost count) on my nsr + the original purchase price of £1200 but would be lucky to get 2K -2.2k for her as fontyyy said you can get a 28 for 2.5 - 2.8
I think what you need to do is look more at the history of the bike rather than looks, Mine had damaged rear seat fairing, aftermarket front fairings and warped disc's, but i still bought it because there was a load of recipts as thick as your arm, The crank had just been replaced, it came with a cd rom that had pictures from previous owner including emails back n forth from Apex and Andy (nsr-world) regarding up keep and rebuilds. Get a good history on any 2 stroke and you cant go to far wrong!!!
