The torque arm fits to the inside of the frame. You can see the bolt hole in thet pic, its just above the pivot bolt.
If the R2 frame is like the MC16, it has webbing on the inside and would need stripping to gring out the web and make up a spacer.
I ended up selling my R5 arm and fitting a R2 arm to my 16 because of this problem.
