No, I dobt they exist outside of Honda.

Sounds like you have powervalve motor issues. Did you buy the bike with a blown CDI or did it happen whilst you owned it?

The most common cause of a toast CDI is a siezure in the powervalve system which draws too much current from the CDI and burns out some transistors.

I'm in the process of acquiring a duff one to see if I can repair it - and it sounds like I can.
