I have thought about it in the past.

My plan was to use the same kind of concept that is used on my RS for the front of the tank.

Basically I was thinking of taking a bolt, cutting the head off it, and drilling a hole into the shaft so I could slip a retaining pin to hold the front in place (just like they do on the RS). For the backthe dame type of thing could be done, just would need to be a little more beefy of a pin to really hold it in place. Of course if you are using a stock seat they you would run into the issue of how the seat would attach to the frame.

But since I run a race tail that doesnt use the stock seat pad, this would work for my application.
